List of shortcut keys for Web Apps

To view this list of Shortcuts, click the module navigation menu, then click the Shortcuts button at the bottom of the list. You can also list the shortcuts by pressing Ctrl + ?.

Shortcut keys in popup windows

Shortcut keys may be highlighted in some popup windows. Some examples are:

• When navigating away from a page where there are unsaved changes; "Y" is the shortcut key for Yes, and "N" is the shortcut key for No. The Yes button is highlighted to show that it's the default action.
  

• Scanning the barcode of a borrower with alerts. "O" is the shortcut key for OK.
  

• Issuing an item to a borrower with traps. "P" is the shortcut key for Proceed.
  

On most popup windows, pressing Enter or Spacebar will perform the default action. There is an exception to this rule at issue/renewal, where library staff should see and acknowledge any alerts before proceeding or cancelling.

Esc in most interfaces will perform the default Close action, and Tab or Shift+Tab to navigate between buttons.
